MS. SHIRE

ENL TEACHER

Eve Shire is an ENL teacher at BCHS who provides students with English language support, encouragement, and a consistent reminder to be patient and never give up. She believes that learning extends beyond academics and that perseverance is an essential part of a student’s growth.

Before joining BCHS, Ms. Shire gained professional experience in graphic arts while working at an advertising agency. This creative background adds another dimension to her approach to education and working with students.

On a typical day, students can find Ms. Shire working in her classroom. She describes herself as friendly, energetic, and hard-working, qualities that shape the environment she creates for her students.

Outside of school, Ms. Shire enjoys African drumming, swimming, and cycling. Students may be surprised to learn that she plays African drums.

Ms. Shire believes that teenagers succeed when adults really listen to what they are saying. Her approach centers on providing students with the support and encouragement they need while making sure they feel heard.
