MS.  ABDUL-Karim

Lindsay Abdul-Karim is a Social Studies teacher at BCHS who brings a genuine, energetic, and student-centered approach to her work. Students can rely on Lindsay for encouragement and support, and she places a strong emphasis on helping young people understand different perspectives as a pathway toward becoming thoughtful and empathetic individuals.

Before joining BCHS, Lindsay gained experience in customer service, sports, and education. On a typical day, she can often be found throughout the building connecting with students and staff. She describes herself as genuine, extroverted, and attentive, and is always willing to slow down and explain something in a different way when a student needs additional support.



Outside of school, Lindsay enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching sports, and cooking. Students may also be surprised to learn that she rides a motorcycle.

Her goal is for students to leave their interactions with her feeling more confident asking questions and more comfortable participating in discussions. Lindsay believes teenagers succeed when adults show them understanding, respect, and encouragement.
