MS. GARRISON
PROGRAM DIRECTOR | MISSION SOCIETY
Ms. Aniqa Garrison is the Program Director for the Mission Society at BCHS, and one of the most visible faces in the building — found in the main office, in the hallways, and occasionally at student lunch. With a background in customer service, childcare, and after-school programming, she brings a resourceful, reliable, and deeply caring approach to her work with students. Ms. Garrison's primary goal is straightforward: she wants every student to feel connected and safe. She guides scholars in relationship building, college and career planning, and the life skills that don't always show up on a transcript. Outside of school, she cooks, does puzzles, crafts, listens to music, and binge-watches movies. Students are often surprised to learn she is an only child — or to find out her age. She believes teenagers succeed when adults create a space where they feel safe to be exactly who they are.
